HUNTER WOLKONOWSKI (HUNTER GIRL) ON AMERICAN IDOL  

IT’S OFFICIAL AND THE WORD IS OUT: Hunter Wolkonowski (aka, “HunterGirl”) will be on Season 20 of American Idol (season premiere Feb 27 at 8pm ET on ABC). When she’s not playing on music row, on tour or on network TV, Hunter is also a Freedom Sings USA Music Therapy Song Coach for our Tuesday Night Women’s “Trailblazer” Class.

Hunter posted on her Facebook page: “HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am so excited to tell y’all that I auditioned for Season 20 of American Idol. I am so blessed to have this opportunity! The premiere is February 27th on ABC. Would love if you guys would tune in to see my journey. Thank you so much to everyone for the love and support. 2022 is gonna be a good year!”

Hunter has been with Freedom Sings USA for several years working with veterans from all branches of the service. When FSUSA realized there was a critical need for a female veterans program, Hunter took the lead and has continued working with the class — growing its streaming attendance to service women vets across the country.

FSUSA and, especially, the women of our Trailblazers class are thrilled for Hunter. We will all be glued to our screens watching her national (actually, global) debut.

We’ve always known she was an amazing talent. NOW the world will know as well! Congrats, Hunter!
